Fiber Optic Amplifier Sensor

Fiber optic amplifier sensor is a high-performance photoelectric detection device that integrates advanced fiber optic sensing technology and precision amplification circuits. It typically consists of a light-emitting unit, a fiber optic transmission component, a photoelectric conversion unit, and a signal processing and amplification module. The light-emitting unit emits a specific wavelength of light, which is transmitted through the fiber optic cable to the detection area. When the light encounters the target object or undergoes changes in the measured medium, such as variations in light intensity, phase, or wavelength caused by the object's presence, distance, color, or transparency, the fiber optic cable transmits the modulated light signal back to the photoelectric conversion unit. The photoelectric conversion unit converts the optical signal into a weak electrical signal, which is then processed and amplified by the internal circuits to convert it into a standard electrical output signal, such as analog signals (4-20mA, 0-10V) or digital signals (RS485, switching signals), for easy connection with various control systems, PLCs, or upper computer equipment to achieve real-time monitoring and control of the measured parameters.
